"You really can't get more personal than this," says Shrum of the leather bomber that bore Whitney's childhood nickname. "She wore it on all her tours."

The Italian design duo were tasked with designing all the clothes for Whitney's 1999, multi-city US tour. Whitney's sister-in-law Pat told Heritage Auctions, "They did such amazing things with that tour. It was her big fashion tour." These green, embroidered heels are expected to fetch $2,000.

"It's just so over-the-top," Shrum says of the black and magenta fur coat that DampG designed for Whitney. "The photos don't do it justice. It's electric. You can just imagine what it looked like under the lights onstage." Opening bid: $1,500

"One hundred years from now, people will listen to 'I Will Always Love You' and be like, 'Wow, listen to the range on that woman.' It doesn't age," says Shrum. "I used to play it in my store, and even the punks would come up and tell me how good it was."
